Additional rules may apply for your specific game and as such can be found within that tournament’s rules section. By participating in any tournament run by Lancraft Events you are both confirming you have read, and that you agree to the below.
GENERAL RULES
You should refer to the specific rules for the tournament you are playing in for more detailed rules pertaining to that competition.
The rules in this document are general rules that apply to all Enclave tournaments. These individual rules may override these base rules.
All players are also expected to have read and understood the Event Terms and Conditions.
We will not tolerate:
Abusive behaviour/ content or making of or sharing inappropriate or offensive comments or jokes.
Sexual Harassment, unwanted sexual advances and exploitation.
Bullying/ Cyberbullying.
Stalking, ignoring requests to not contact, or breaking personal boundaries.

AGE RATINGS
Any game with an age rating causing its supply to be restricted by law will not be supplied by Lancraft Events Ltd to persons under that age.
Lancraft Events Ltd do not take responsibility for the contents of any owned games brought into the venue and used to take part in our tournaments.
Some tournaments will require parental consent forms for players to take part, if you can not supply this you may be removed from the tournament without warning.
Larger cash prize tournaments have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old, regardless of the game’s PEGI age rating. Please refer to the tournament information provided on a per-tournament basis for this information.
ADMIN STRUCTURE AND INFORMATION
The admin team will comprise a Tournament Manager for each tournament who may or may not have Assistants. These are known as the “Tournament officials”.
Tournament Managers have complete control over their tournament, in tournament ruling matters the Tournament Manager’s decision is always final.
When dealing with the tournament team, we ask that you be courteous, respectful and co-operative.
We do not tolerate abuse or inappropriate behaviour towards any member of our tournament administration team. Ignoring this rule may result in ejection from the tournament and/or event without refund and forfeiture of prize money.
TOURNAMENT SIGN-UP
Teams must have all their players signed up to the tournament by the specified time in order to guarantee their place within each tournament.
Teams failing to have all their players signed up by the required time will not be guaranteed a place in the tournament.
Each team must have the minimum number of players signed up to a tournament before they will be classed as a team. The minimum number of sign-ups will be indicated within the rules of each tournament.
Individual players may only play for one team throughout the entire tournament and may not switch teams.
If any player has issues registering in time for a tournament they should contact the Tournament Admin for that specific tournament via the method provided on the tournament platform.
NAMING RULES
Team (or player) names deemed as offensive may be requested to be changed by the tournament team.
In some cases team (or player) names might be considered edge-case but you may still be asked to change your name, this must be adhered to.
When in the server prior to match start, all team players must be named the same as they registered on the tournament platform.
If the game title allows – all players of the same team must have matching team [tags] so it’s clear who is who.
Any attempts to deliberately mislead participants or tournament officials by changing names will be deemed as an attempt to cheat in the tournament.
TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
Where applicable, every team is expected to send a designated representative to the pre-tournament briefing. This will be where any final rule clarifications will be communicated, and will be participants last chance to ask questions before the tournament goes live.
At our events, you should expect the tournament to run any time during the event. Players should be prepared to stay for the duration of the entire event – leaving early will be taken as a forfeiture of all remaining matches.
PLAYING MATCHES – STARTING A MATCH
Players are expected to attend matches on-time and to follow the instructions of tournament officials at all times.
There is a standard allowance of 10 minutes grace from the scheduled start time of the match to be present on the server/lobby.
A team may be counted as present and the match may start if all but one player is missing at the end of the grace period, and the game should begin.
Once the match has started, players may join mid-game only if they are one of the registered team members before the match started.
The tournament hosts must ensure that all settings are correct for the tournament match. If the game starts, and no players immediately raise an incorrect setting and the map/game concludes, then the result may still stand.
PLAYER DISCONNECTIONS
Refer to the specific tournament rulesets for rules around game pauses, timeouts etc.
If a player was present at the start of the match then gets disconnected during the game for whatever technical reasons, they may rejoin the game, if possible.
If the game does not allow re-joining the admin will make a decision of whether to restart the game, continue with fewer players or award a win to one side. This depends on circumstances but in many cases it will be a restart of the match either in part or in full.
Players are expected to continue playing as if the game is live until a tournament official confirms there is a restart.
If a player drops and a listed substitute cannot be found then the match will continue as long as the minimum number of players remain on each team.
UNREGISTERED PLAYERS / “MERCS”
Players not registered to play as part of a team are forbidden to participate.
Any unauthorised use of a mercenary player will result in the match being forfeited by the offending team and potential disqualification at the tournament manager’s discretion.
REPORTING RESULTS
Teams must declare and confirm results via the tournament platform immediately upon completion of the match.
If you are experiencing difficulty in doing this then you must report the scores to the tournament Admins immediately in person or via Discord.
Any pending results may be forced if officials have not been provided with the correct result.
TEAM PROXIMITY AT EVENTS
At a live event, if two competing teams are within close proximity to each other (within 1 row) and either team has a clear view of the opposing teams monitors, it must be reported to the Tournament Manager before the match begins.
An Admin will explain the rules to both teams. Generally this requires the team that has visibility of the opposing teams monitors to not look up from their screens for the duration of the match.
Should a player be seen to look up from their screen towards the opposition during the match, they will be issued with a warning. This warning is for the whole team. If there is a second incident then the match will be forfeited.
BROADCAST RIGHTS
Lancraft Events Ltd reserves the right to broadcast every tournament match.
The recording of such broadcasts may not be refused by tournament participants.
Any other broadcasting of tournament matches is forbidden without the express written permission of a Lancraft Events Ltd employee.
CHEATING AND FOUL PLAY
WHAT CONSTITUTES CHEATING
We expect all players to play within the spirit of fair play. We reserve the right to against written rules in order to maintain fair play in unforeseen circumstances.
Cheating is any attempt to gain an advantage through unfair play.
Modifying a game’s code, or “hacking” to gain an unfair advantage, including but not limited to:
Wall hacks
Map hacks / radar bots
Aim bots
Speed hacks
Automations designed to distract opponents with chat spam or similar
Installing additional software, outside of the game code to achieve similar advantages to the above.
Abusing in-game bugs that are not designed to be part of the gameplay design (like clipping through walls or objects) – note there is a big difference between discovering a bug, avoiding its use and reporting it to admins, and actively using the bug to gain an advantage.
Receiving communications/additional information about opponents gameplay from anyone outside of the participating players during a match.
“Ghosting” (viewing a live stream of the match you are participating in) or deliberately looking at the screen of an opponent player if in view.
Deliberate attempts at hindering opponents ability to participate in the game in any way.
What happens to cheaters:
If a player is caught and verified as cheating the player is immediately disqualified from the tournament and all prize money is forfeited.
If there is evidence that other members of the team were aware of the cheating player and participated without informing the tournament officials, the rest of the team will follow the same path as above.
Depending on the severity the player(s) may also be ejected from the event, without refund, and possibly prevented from attending future events. This is at the discretion of event management.
Reporting cheating:
If you genuinely suspect another team has cheated then you should alert an Admin at the earliest possible time.
Proof of cheating will be required – accusations without any supporting evidence will be dismissed. We recommend screenshots or clips of gameplay as the most practical method of recording evidence (utilisation of programs like Shadowplay etc are recommended for all players).
Consistent complaints of cheating where no cheating is occurring will be treated as time wasting and may have penalties issued by tournament officials.
SHOUTING AND SMACK TALK
While we do understand that many players are passionate about playing each game, and there may be some small outbursts while in a tense match, we do have limits to the amount and type of shouting that can occur.
Unacceptably loud swearing, banging of tables, or constant disruption to other participants may result in the player in question receiving warnings and eventually removal from the match in progress by tournament officials.
If a sanctioned player continues the same behaviour in a future match, they can be removed from the tournament entirely.
DRUG POLICY
Lancraft Events Ltd has a zero-tolerance policy in regards to illegal drugs. Anyone found to be in possession of, or taking, illegal drugs will be removed from the event immediately.
In the case of prescription drugs such as Adderall, players must provide an official doctor’s note confirming prescription of the drug, or they will be disqualified and potentially banned from competing in future events, as per the cheating rules above.
PENALTIES
If any rules are broken one or more of the following penalties will take place:
Verbal Warning
In-game or pre-game penalties
Game Forfeiture
Match Forfeiture
Disqualification from the tournament
Removal from a live event & potential future event ban
These penalties may not take place in the specific order above as different violations will invoke different punishments.
